Questions
How long should the scene be?
Each scene should be 1 - 3 minutes, thats roughly 1 - 3 pages standard font.
Do I need to be experienced?
Not at all. We work with both seasoned actors that just want to freshen their reel and completely green actors that are just stepping into the industry. We adjust how much direction and guidance we give based on how much you feel comfortable with.
Do I find my scene partner?
Yes, it is your responsibility to find a scene partner. Often actors split the cost of the scene. If you are struggling to find someone or don't know many actors, let us know. We have a huge network of actors that are always keen to jump on board.
Do I find my location?
Yes. This is one of the reasons our showreel scenes remain so affordable. Most locations are more than happy to allow you to shoot there, you just have to ask. When choosing a location, consider the sound. We want somewhere quiet to ensure the audio is clean and clear. The same as scene partners, if you're stressed about location please have a talk with us. We have a few locations up our sleeve that may work for your scene.
How long does it take to film a scene?
It depends on how simple or complex the scene is. It generally takes 3-4 hours.
